This is interesting.

We need more films and series in the science-fiction genre as a collective.

"The Decade of Grandeur" — a phrase that could define the political landscape of 2025.

In my assessment, sci-fi is a playground for a culturally bold imagination.

It’s an untapped space for black storytellers willing to push the boundaries of race, power, and politics.

It’ll be interesting to see where you take it creatively.

I personally would like to see more of a daring approach in the genre.

From struggle to complete power storylines — instead of victimization.

If any genre could bear the weight of such ambition, it’s science fiction.

Keep going.

Nice work.

Thank you for watching!

It's crazy what the times are doing. I'll post an article about when I first was inspired to write the piece. First it was conceptual, based off of a grim hypothetical that someone contrived "as a solution" to the "immigrant problem." But then life slowly began to imitate art.

And without spoiling anything to, in regards to you comments about the victimization narrative, let's just say, I agree with you. I very much agree with you. But before a story reaches the light, it has to start in the dark. And this story is a bit darker than you currently know.

(Shameless plug - i'm posting pages of the pilot if you want more of the story https://silastibbs.substack.com/p/attrition-pilot-pages-1-6 )
